Wow. I finished the 30 day meme and everyone who was reading has quit. No visitors! Guess this is for me then.
Zach and I went to the mall today. He wanted a new shirt and tie for Homecoming tonight. He ended up with a blue shirt with pink stripes and a pink scarf with blue stripes. It worked. I promise. I wouldn’t send him out looking like a fool.
I found a cashmere sweater for $79! I was quite impressed. It is a very thin sweater. Very much a “winter in Florida” weight, which is probably why it was so inexpensive (for cashmere). The mall is not decorated for Christmas, but it was crowded for Christmas. I guess it was because it was Saturday and I haven’t been to the mall in a while that it seemed so busy.
Nanowrimo has already, in a mere six days, taught me something about myself-I’m not a creative writer. I get bored and lose my confidence fast because I feel like my idea and writing is shallow and vapid. I was always more into research writing when I was in school. Literary criticism. That’s what I excelled at. Sort of. Depending on who you ask I suppose.
I think some of you have been experiencing colder than usual weather. I know we are. I’m not even sure it got out of the 50’s today, at least not when I was checking the temperature. That’s winter weather here. Hell, 60’s are winter weather. There might even be patchy frost up to the north of us. Frost in November is, like, not normal. We don’t have frost until mid to late December. Oh well. It doesn’t bother me. I like it cooler. I like to wear long sleeves and snuggly pajamas.
Enjoy the rest of your weekend!
I’m still reading!
Where oh where did you find a $79 cashmere sweater?
